ChaharshanbeSuri
ChaharshanbeSuri is a winter festival that is celebrated in Iranian culture before the arrival of Nowruz and has special importance and place among Iranian people. The ceremony of ChaharshanbeSuri is in the ancient rituals of Iranians and it is popular among the survivors of Aryan tribes in different forms. The ChaharshanbeSuri is composed of two words, Wednesday (the last Wednesday of the year) and Suri (Persian Surik, meaning red), which means Red Wednesday, and is the introduction to the Nowruz celebration.
Sade Festival
"Sade Festival" or "Sade Burning" is the biggest fire festival and one of the oldest rituals known in ancient Iran, which is held forty days after Yalda night by Zoroastrians as a sign of gratitude for God's blessings. This celebration is a sign of the importance of light, fire, and energy in life, which begins near the sunset of the tenth day of Bahman, that is, with bonfires on the top of the mountains and the roofs of houses.

Tabriz ski resort
From Tabriz, if you move towards Marand, after traveling for about 20 kilometers, you will reach the beautiful and stepped village of Yam, which is located at the foot of the mountain "Mi Shu". In front of this village, there is the "Payam" ski resort, which is considered one of the oldest ski resorts in Iran and is open only for three days on the weekend. In this resort, you can rent ski equipment, and use its facilities such as buffet, parking, and restrooms. This complex also has a ski slope for professionals.
Zarivar lake (Kurdistan)
One of the well-known attractions of Kurdistan, which has been attracting tourists for years in its always snowy winters, is Zarivar Lake. Before the development of Marivan city, this lake was a few kilometers away from the city, but now it is attached to it. In winter, the entire surface of the lake freezes, but be aware that the strength of this layer is not guaranteed, and our advice is to enjoy the distance.
Mesr desert
Mesr Desert is one of the famous places in Isfahan province of Mesr and it is considered one of the most beautiful manifestations of nature in Iran and one of the most popular destinations for nature tourism. This beautiful desert is surrounded by mountain ranges from the west, southwest, and southeast, which are part of the mountain range of the central plateau of Iran.
Lut desert (Kerman)
The desert has extremely hot afternoons and it gets so cold at night that it is not possible to spend the night in non-professional camps. To reach this desert, you have to go through several climates. First, you have to leave the green city of Mahan and enter a mountain road. Interestingly, some 10 kilometers next to the Lut desert, before the desert, you reach a winter and snowy area called Siraj, after that, you have to move towards the hottest place in the world, Shahdad, and then the Lut desert is at your sight.
Hengam Island
It is one of the sightseeing spots of Hormozgan province in the south of Iran. Hengam Island with small settlements with an area of about 50 square kilometers is located in the south of Qeshm Island and has salt, soil, and lead mines. This island has an area of 6.33 square kilometers and is in the shape of an incomplete cone, which is located on the southern shores of Qeshm Island. Its distance to Bandar Abbas is about 43 nautical miles and to Qeshm city is about 29 nautical miles. This island has limestone low altitudes and its highest point is Mount Knox with a height of 106 meters.
Siraf port Bushehr
Winter is one of the best times to travel to the Persian Gulf. If you travel to the Persian Gulf, don't miss the legendary port of Siraf. In ancient times, Siraf was a very prosperous city with magnificent mansions and the starting point of the Silk Road. Unfortunately, this city was destroyed by earthquake hundreds of years ago, but you can still find many monuments such as the castle, mosque, and cemetery. To go there, you have to go from Bushehr to Khormoj, from Khormoj to Kangan, and from Kangan to Siraf.
Khuzestan
Walk in Khuzestan province in winter and enjoy its wonderful weather, which in a few months will give way to heat above 50 degrees. But if you want to visit historical places while walking, we recommend not to miss the thousand-year-old buildings of the city of Susa. Apadana Palace, Acropolis Hill, Shavor Palace and the tomb of Hazrat Daniel (AS), and the 3,300-year-old ziggurat (a type of temple) of Chaghazanbil are located 15 kilometers from Shush, which is a favorite of history lovers.
Yazd
The valuable and traditional architecture of Yazd has attracted countless domestic and foreign tourists from all over Iran and the world over the years. Besides the strange and wonderful architecture of Yazd, of course, many other things such as historical attractions, magnificent rituals, and ceremonies, local foods, weather, Yazdi people, etc. are influential in attracting tourists. But what Yazd is always famous for is its windmills and aqueducts, and it is called "the first raw clay city in the world". Therefore, the architectural role of Yazd buildings is more prominent in this context. The beautiful city of Yazd is one of the central cities of Iran and was registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List in July 2016.
